Ah yes, the all-important transportation matter

How many of us, like our Tiit, fondly remember their first cars  ...
Alas, some boys' toys ultimately get sacrificed to progress and the lack of the almighty $$$$

Now, we all know who owned this sweet little coupe, another fond first car ...
According to its loving owner, Rick rescued his little '34 Ford coupe from his grandfather's farm where it was enjoying a bucolic retirement pulling stumps out of fields.  He and Ron Davis "worked" on it in Rick's garage for about a year until they were old enough to get a driver's licence.  Then it was "look out worrrrld!".  They drove it to school daily in '58 and even took it on fishing trips with an 8 ft dinghy tied on the roof!  It faithfully transported its owner to UBC in '59, suffering from a bit of neglect owing to a time conflict between academic homework and automotive mechanics 101.  Ultimately it came to an untimely demise in 1960 after being involved in a fender bender that winter, and was retired permanently.

Then there were those of us who opted for a more traditional form of transport ...
Just feed him some hay and he'd take you anywhere.
